Baton Twirling Clinic

    Come learn the wonderful sport of baton twirling! New and experienced twirlers are welcome. New twirlers will learn basic twirling skills and techniques, marching, bodywork, strutting skills, and a dance twirl routine. Experienced twirlers will learn new tricks as well as improve their individual routines. Learn with an expert professional staff led by head coach Susan Usher. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, and bring a baton if you have one! There are two sessions available. For ages K and up!

    WHEN

    • Session Two: Sunday April 27th from 1:00p to 3:30p

Kickstart Karate

  • This introductory martial arts program offers traditional martial arts training to children ages 6 through 12 and emphasizes self-defense, physical fitness, conflict resolution, teamwork, and anti-kidnapping techniques. This program is designed specifically for children and teaches children to respect themselves and others with the skills they learn. The program has a very positive impact on children. Each session is four Friday evening classes. Class is held in Saline.

Kitchen Explorers (ages 9-12)

  • The Kitchen Explorers: Cooking and Safety Basics for Kids

     

    Cooking Class: Fun & Easy Favorites for Kids // This is for ages 9-12 years old

    In this hands-on cooking class, kids will continue to develop their kitchen skills while making some classical favorites! Through fun and engaging activities, they'll learn the basics of kitchen safety, proper utensil handling, and how to work confidently with food. Whether it's using knives safely or mastering heat on the stove, each lesson will build their confidence in the kitchen.

    The class will feature a delicious lineup of recipes: 

    *Crispy French Fries with Homemade Ketchup & Ranch: Kids will learn how to cut, bake, and season their own fries, then make fresh, tangy ketchup and creamy ranch dressing from scratch

    *Gummy Bears: A fun twist on homemade candy! Students will create their own gummy bears using simple ingredients while discovering how gelatin works to create the perfect chewy treat.

    *4-Ingredient Banana Pancakes: Simple, yet delicious, kids will whip up pancakes using just four ingredients - and yes, they'll get to eat 'em too!

     

    Perfect for young chefs eager to explore new flavors and gain confidence in the kitchen, this class promises to be a tasty and educational experience!

     

    All tools and ingredients provided. Bring your appetite and your curiosity!
