I have been teaching STEAM at Milan Middle School for the past 3 years! I love that as an electives' teacher, I have the opportunity to teach all four grade levels. Before coming to Milan, I taught 7th and 8th grade science in Detroit. In the fall of 2019, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education Integrated Science. I can't wait to use my science background to implement engaging, thoughtful STEAM lessons. The goal of STEAM is to integrate life lessons into core curriculum through project-based learning.
