Hello! This is my 15th year teaching in Milan at Symons Elementary School as a 5th grade teacher. I am so honored to work in this district. I have always loved working with kids from babysitting when I was younger, to coaching basketball, tutoring, and now teaching. I also spent many years volunteering with the Special Olympics of Washtenaw County. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. 

My husband and I have been married for 18 years and we have a 9-year-old daughter. In my free time I love to do anything with my family. We play, read, ride bikes, go to the park, make forts, do arts and crafts, swim, and get together with friends. I also love watching University of Michigan football, basketball, and softball games. My favorite place to be, besides school, is the lake. :) We adopted a puppy from the Humane Society 5 years ago named Cadence and last summer we adopted another named Jack.
