Milan Area Schools has been working to fully implement the Common Core State Standards, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the C3 Social Studies Framework.  All three of these are challenging, in-depth curricula that requires students to understand the content on a deeper level and show this understanding through manipulating/combining knowledge to produce something unique.  This is a significant change and will better prepare our students for college or career once they leave our school system.
