I am excited to start my 18th year in education!  I started my career as a 5th grade teacher in Milan, and have held various roles in the district over the years.  This year, I am serving as a Literacy Interventionist, working with Symons students in reading, and also as an Instructional Coach.  As a coach, my job is to create opportunities for professional collaboration and learning for the teachers at Symons, especially as we work to implement new curriculum and instructional best practices in literacy.  I am passionate about teaching in general, and literacy instruction in particular.

I love spending time with my family!  My husband and I have three boys: a third grader and twins who are starting first grade.  As a family, we love to travel, cheer on the Wolverines, read and play outside.
