About Mrs. Saragoza

I am thrilled to begin my administrative career at Paddock!  It is such an honor to join the talented staff here in serving Milan’s youngest students!  Before coming to Paddock, I taught at Symons Elementary.  I enjoy facilitating teaching and working with children because my days are full of fun experiences and interesting challenges!

Although I’ve always lived in Michigan, I first came to this part of the state as a student at the University of Michigan.  In 2000 I received Joint Degrees in English and Education.  While in college I also competed on the Varsity Track & Field team and studied abroad in London, England.   I also earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Michigan, and my husband graduated from U of M’s medical school.  He’s now in his residency at UM hospital.

My family is very important to me.  We share many common interests: reading, running, traveling, playing sports and games, cheering for the Michigan Wolverines, and playing with my dog, Simon (who often comes in to school to visit the students).  We love spending time with our family, especially our nephew and nieces: Bruce, Cora, & Annabelle.  In October,  my husband and I ran the Indianapolis Half Marathon along with my sister.

I am looking forward to another year working with the wonderful students and families in Milan!
