The power of play to develop healthy, well-rounded children cannot be underestimated.

KinderClub is here to help facilitate your Kindergartener and your families  childcare needs, before and after kindergarten. We strive for a relaxed and enriching program that is enjoyable and comfortable for parents and children

 

Children learn in spurts, not in a steady stream.  Therefore, we see ourselves as facilitators to intellectual development outside the classroom.  We provide many activities each week so children can follow their natural curiosity and learn about things that interest them.  It is our job to balance the exciting with the relaxing, the stimulation with the calm, and discipline with the freedom to make choices.

We are concerned that all aspects of our environment benefit the children and families we serve.  .

 

Staff

As a child care program licensed by the State of Michigan, we maintain a ratio of one staff member for every twelve children.  Our KinderClub enrollment is limited to twenty four students per session.

 

Activities

Each day, our students eat lunch, play outdoors or in the gym, read stories, have a rest time, make art projects, play games and explore sensory materials.  The time is loosely structured to encourage making friends and making choices.

 

Cost

Prices are charged at a daily rate, per program used.  The fees are listed on the enrollment form. 

 

Schedule

Paddock’s Early Childhood Center has four programs available to your Kindergartner:

Breakfast Club             6:30 am - 8:45 am

KinderClub 1                8:45 am - 12:30 pm

KinderClub 2                11:50 am - 3:30 pm

PrimeTime                     3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

                              Your child must be enrolled a minimum of two days per week.

 

KinderClub begins at 8:45 am for Afternoon Kindergarteners or 11:50 am for Morning Kindergartners.

Morning Kindergartners who are enrolled in KinderClub should wait in their classroom for a KinderClub staff member to come and escort them to the meeting area.  Parents should also be sure to write a note to the Kindergarten teacher, explaining where the child is to go after school.  If the schedule changes, the teacher and the KinderClub staff will both need that information in writing.

 

On scheduled half-days of school, Kindergarten parents must be sure the classroom teacher knows where their students should go.  Bus routes and childcare services operate on a different schedule.  When morning kindergarten is not in session, full day childcare is available by prior arrangements.

 

Registration

Registration forms are available online,  at Paddock’s Early Childhood Center office or  in the Paddock Elementary office.  Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.  A $40 non-refundable registration fee must accompany the registration form.

 

Billing

Paddock’s Early Childhood Center is a self-supporting program that receives no outside funding.  We rely on prompt payment by our families to continue to provide child care services, including staff salaries, equipment purchases and supplies for the children.  You will receive a bill after the fifteenth day of each month, for the next month’s tuition.  Payment is expected by the first day of each month.  A late fee will be added to all accounts after the due date has passed.

 

Schedule Changes

We will make every effort to meet your child care needs.  Please inform us in writing of your wishes to drop, add, or change times, two weeks before you need the change.  If there is space, we will be happy to accommodate you.  Click here for a Schedule Change form.

 

School Closing

If Milan Area Schools are closed, KinderClub will not operate.  You will need to make arrangements for your child in case of inclement weather, school vacations, your child’s illness, or other emergencies.
