The OPEN ENROLLMENT period for the second semester of the 2015-2016 school year is CLOSED. The OPEN ENROLLMENT period for the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year will begin on April 1, 2016 and will end on October 5, 2016. Approvals made between April 1, 2016 and September 6, 2016 will allow a student to begin school on September 6, 2016. The last day a student can be accepted and start school is October 5, 2016.

The application process can be started any time.

A Michigan REWARD School!

Symons was honored by the Michigan Department of Education as a Reward School in 2014 for being among the top 5% in academic improvements compared to all other schools in the state. Improvement is measured by performance on the MEAP compared to a trend of the three previous years.
